About
About me
Making work that lives somewhere between the beautiful and the broken.
Anna Brangoccio — Mixed Media Artist, Denver, CO
Anna's practice is rooted in collage — the act of cutting, layering, and recontextualizing image and material to create something new. Working across collage, ink, watercolor, and acrylic, her process is intuitive and layered, often beginning with found imagery and building through mark-making and composition until something true emerges. Her themes circle around duality and transformation: beauty within catastrophe, tenderness alongside tension, the strange inside the familiar. The work is personal without being confessional. It holds complexity without demanding resolution. Based in Denver, Anna creates work that is meant to be felt as much as seen. Available as originals and fine art prints.
THE PRACTICE
The practice began with taking things apart.
The Work
Each piece begins with an impulse — a scrap of image, a fragment of feeling — and grows from there.
Select prints are available through the shop. Each print is produced on quality archival paper, true to the texture and depth of the original work. Limited runs only — when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Collage is where the work begins — tearing, layering, and recontextualizing found imagery to build something new. Each piece is a conversation between materials, textures, and time.

Watercolor for atmosphere and transparency, acrylic for body and depth. These two mediums anchor Anna’s color work — fluid and luminous, building layers of tone and feeling that hold the whole piece together.
